This heavy-duty vise is unequaled in quality. "Quick-release" action lets you bypass the screw for fast opening and closing. Solid steel dogs in the front jaws, when used in conjunction with a bench stop, allows oversize work to be held securely on the bench top. Machined, toed-in jaws provide a solid grip, while northern hardwood handles provide balance and comfort. The front and back jaws are drilled and tapped for countersunk holes to allow for optional wood facing. Vise easily fits any bench up to 3" thick.

Quick Release Vise, 9" Width, 10" Opening
Manufactured from close-grained grey cast iron, these robust vises have accurately machined housings for smooth sliding and true parallel action, free of side or cross movement. Vise jaws are equipped with a "toe-in" feature - when fully closed the jaws meet only at the top to provide even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece. Steel main screw has buttress threads for smooth, accurate and responsive adjustment. Body and sliding jaw have provision for attaching wooden liners to protect vise, workpiece and tools. Includes an adjustable front dog made from a special high strength plastic to protect your tools from damage.
